HUMBUCKER
A humbucker is a pickup with two coils connected in such a way as to eliminate noise. It provides a warm, full, and powerful sound with a pronounced midrange. It is less susceptible to interference and works well with heavier distortion. Most commonly used in rock, metal, hard rock, and jazz, where a thicker, more saturated tone is needed.
SINGLE COIL
A Single Coil is a pickup with one coil, producing a bright, clear, and dynamic sound with pronounced high tones. It is valued for its responsiveness and expressive playability. Most commonly used in blues, jazz, rock, and funk music, where clarity and articulation of tones are essential.
